The Wii Shop Experience

When I got my Wii for Christmas, I was aware that RiiConnect24 (at the time) had custom-made revivals for WiiConnect24 channels and such that I knew I had to try. I give major props to RiiConnect24/WiiLink, Wiimmfi, and the Open Shop Channel for having good services and teams that work fine enough to work with them. In this post, I'll type out my experience with Wii Shop revivals. Rii Shop Channel Remember the months-old Rii Shop Channel? I remember seeing it at school and getting the WAD downloaded on my phone, planning to try it later but never did. At the time I heard that downloads weren't working so I put it off for a while. Later on, WiiLink made an announcement stating that LarsenV had leaked a list of Wii console serial numbers via an accidentally showing them on a Discord screen share call. LarsenV already made the project make the project not have the best public image, so this just set the Discord server on fire. It led to a defunct project, internet drama, and a dis

Video game consoles

Ever since I started playing video games, I have always had a fascination for game consoles. One of those especially being the Wii, along with the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. I have had 3 Nintendo consoles, 2 Xbox consoles, and 3 PlayStation consoles. Sixth generation PlayStation 2 This one is unironically memorable to me with the system menu rather than it's games, it was where I played Pac-Man World 2 and where I watched many DVD movies. Otherwise, I remember this console for being the subject of many YouTube videos I have watched. Seventh generation Xbox 360 I feel like this one is where I had my start on playing 'obscure' games on Xbox Live Arcade. I played Pac-Man Championship Edition, Peggle, Pac-Man, Galaga, Galaga Legions, Bejeweled 2/3 and possibly Mercury Hg. I tried to emulate this console on my computer and failed sadly due to Xenia not allowing custom button inputs at the time. PlayStation 3 This one has to be my second favorite to the Wii, it was where I had m

So...Blogger?

I'm here again! 4 years later I come back to Blogger since my experience with Google Sites is trash, Fandom has too many things going against it, and Carrd is just not what I want.   Google Sites was my first type haven because it seemed like a decent website maker, the layout is not my favorite and the domain doesn't look nice. I stopped liking it for a pretty dumb reason, the domain. The default domain is sites.google.com/view/ username and I don't exactly want to buy a domain for my word walls, so what now?   Fandom is a wiki hosting website that contains free user-accessible wikis with ads and allows users to make personal sandbox wikis for themselves. It can be accessed on web mostly with terrible mobile support. On the wiki side of things, the editor is terrible to use on Firefox, it doesn't load properly and I have to refresh the page, the editor's syntax screws up typing, and the advertisements that are shoved everywhere. Carrd? Well, I want more than on
